- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪After several months of severe anal pain following an internal hemorrhoidectomy by a general surgeon(who saw no reason for my pain when he examined me), I went looking for a board certified colorectal surgeon and found Dr. Peraglie. He examined me and quickly found anal fissures overlooked by my general surgeon. I had greatly diminished pain within a week after starting medication and now a month later I have gone from hours of high pain levels to just a minute of moderate pain during BM.
